Page 23 of 24 Charity cycle ride After 1,000 miles, 2 punctures and several close calls with vehicles, Morwenna Stevens crossed the line at Land’s End in her cycle for charity.  Morwenna Stevens Morwenna previously won the title for the youngest person to cycle the John O’Groats to Land’s End route, at the age of 12, when she and her dad took on the challenge together. Now 18, she has managed to beat her previous time, and is set to double the amount of money raised for The Parkinson’s Disease Society. Her mother and father, Elizabeth and Denis, supported her along the way and The Lamb and Flag, in Hayle, sponsored the trip. |
