[IMAGE] About the Association:
The Cornish Association of South Australia Inc. was formed originally in 1890 Since the first meetings over 107 years ago we have come a long way but our aims continue to be important for South Australia. This State has a lot of people with Cornish ancestry and a fine Cornish heritage in many forms.

[IMAGE] Activities and Meetings:
The Association meets monthly, except in January. Activities include talks, traditional dinners, an annual day-time reunion, a Cornish carol celebration, and a Church Parade. The Association is very involved in the activities at the time of the biennial Kernewek Lowender and as the Kernewek Lowender is an important part of Cornish life in South Australia we actively support the Festival. We run the "Meet the Cornish" and also a "Cornish Heritage Afternoon". A Biennial Seminar is held comprising: Original research papers being read, Dinners with speakers, Guided tours of historic sites.
The Association has a library and most titles are available for loan (Gartrell Hall). The Association has a thriving singing group.

Next Meetings:

Our MEETINGS are varied and our NEWSLETTER goes out quarterly - it contains news from Cornwall, SA, and around the world!

Why not join the Cornish Association of South Australia, and help keep the Cornish Heritage alive?
